She leaves behind two young sons aged 11 and 13.

Nevada was a seafarer steward and a passionate and had been an active member at the NT Branch for more than five years.

She loved the union, participating in monthly meetings and actions, her family tells us she held the MUA in the highest regard.

Quietly spoken with a beautiful nature, every member who worked with her will understand what a terrible loss her passing is to all of us.

Nevada's boys and her family need our support; we ask that you help us raise some money for their future.  Donations can be made until April 30 to MMPCU BSB 882 000 AC 4626S5 Ref N Jones.

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday 25/2/16 at Thorak Regional Cemetery chapel at 1pm. We will then be gathering after 4pm at Darwin Trailer Boat Club.
