As members of the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union and The Maritime Union of Australia and the Textile, Clothing and Footwear Union of Australia have approved the amalgamation of these organisations, Deputy President Gostencnik has fixed 27 March 2018 as the day on which the amalgamation is to take effect.
