After 27 years on the board, John Coombs stepped down as Chair of the Maritime, Mining & Power Credit Union last week. He leaves a credit union which has grown from strength to strength and we wish him all the best fro his well earned retirement. Deputy National Secretary Mick Doleman has taken over as Chair.

John, former National Secretary of the MUA, joined the board in 1983 and has been Chair since 1993. In 2010, the MMPCU celebrates 40 years of serving workers, their families and the community. John's hard work is in safe hands with the appointment of Mick Doleman, Deputy National Secretary of the MUA as the new Chair.
