Patrick Neliman, wharfie at Northern Shipping Services, Townsville is the Maritime Union delegate to the Australian Council of Trade Unions indigenous committee.

He has worked with a committee of Aboriginal Australian unionists on the Australian Council of Trade Unions indigenous policy to go to Congress this June.

Patrick has been a proud member of the MUA since 1994.

It's great the impact union struggle has had righting all the wrongs bosses put over workers," said Patrick.  "The work we are doing with the ACTU is big.  It's a great thing to be able to voice indigenous Australia."
