Retired Sydney Deputy Branch Secretary denounces Facebook post in his name
Since the recent event of an MUA veterans mobile number being used to send an abusive text message another issue has come to light. MUA Veteran, retired Sydney Branch Deputy Secretary Glenton Wood has had his Facebook profile used to post a defamatory comment.
Glen has requested that the union make it known to members that he did not post this comment and his Facebook profile has been used without his authorisation.
At the combined NSW branches stop work meeting this week Glen stood before the members to make a statement that this post was not made by him and he denounces the consistent attacks that do nothing but damage the union.
Further Glen condemns the scurrilous attacks on our national secretary and his family or any official or officer of the union and their families.
