The union is developing a national pool of trained MUA educators.

In a program run jointly with the ACTU, twenty-four delegates from all over the country are being trained in the techniques of union and political education that are used in MUA education programs.

National Education and Safety Officer Matt Goodwin said training is vital to building a powerful and effective union on the job.

“This course will boost our capacity to deliver training for delegates and HSRs around the country,” Goodwin said, "The delegates attending this program have demonstrated some terrific skills. They are ready to deliver training that delegates, HSRs need to win campaigns and achieve results on the job."
