World container traffic picking up
The drop in container trade has bottomed and there is a slight recovery on global traffic expected for the second half of 2009, according to Drewry Shipping Consultants.
In its Annual Container Market Review & Forecast 2009/2010, editor Neil Dekker said: "After a very challenging year, the container market has bottomed out. We do expect global traffic to rise."
