International Women's Day - 2007

MUA women commemorate and celebrate international women's day in 2007

International Women's Day Events

MUA women are rallying in their local areas along with women transport workers worldwide to celebrate and commemorate Internationl Women's Day. Over 180 events in over 17 countries are planned around March 8th this year.
In Australia this year is a particulalry important one due to the Idustrial Relations reforms introduced by the Howard Govt. and the disproportionate effect these reforms have on working womens rights.
To read more about women workers and how they are affected by the new IR laws click here for the latest research reported on by the ACTU.
