Women united

MUA workers stand as one at AMWU picket.

A dozen maritime women joined their male comrades, in a show of solidarity with AMWU workers (80% of them women).
The Manufacturer workers are protesting against their employer, (another woman) who refuses to allow her employees to bargain collectively and is only offering individual contracts to workers.

MUA members have pledged their support to these women, both financially and in attending various protests in support of these workers, (the battle is now in its Twelfth week) and with the increase in public support growing anything is possible.

Members, activists and the public are asked to continue their support indefinitely.
