MUA Youth took their energy and militancy right to voters in Western Australia, kicking off a week of organising, politics and militant action as part of the Western Australia branch's annual conference.
Maritime Union of Australia Youth Committee Chair, David Ball has indicated the intentions of the youth committee to seek a more active role in union work at National Council, today.
A special ITF (International Transport Workers’ Federation) conference exclusively for young transport workers is expected to close later today in Montreal, Canada, with plans for union action on the economy, environment, precarious (insecure, part time and subcontracted) work and union-building.
The MUA is seeking an experienced communications professional.
The Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) is seeking an experienced and well-connected National Policy & Strategy Coordinator to build on the role which having been established nearly 8 years ago has helped position the Union as a leading national and international advocate for effective policy and strategy in the shipping, maritime, stevedoring, ports and offshore oil and gas industries.
To enrol for the first time or get back on the roll, complete the online form then print, sign and return the form to the AEC. You will need to provide evidence of your identity using a driver’s licence, an Australian passport number or have someone who is enrolled confirm your identity.
