Offshore hydrocarbon workers meeting

13 October 2005

By Rod Currie - Industrial Organiser

The MUA and the AWU are 2 fair dinkum Unions working together in the Oil and Gas industry committed to improving the wages and working conditions of all workers.

The unions believe that workers are under the pump in relation to Industrial and Political matters and are not getting a fair go. The unions want an efficient and safe industry that provides fundamental rights and protection for all workers on the job within the offshore oil and gas industry.

Meeting: Offshore Workers on Drilling Rigs, FPSO's, Support Vessels & Rig Tenders, Production Platforms and Facilities, Service Companies, Construction Barges, Seismic Vessels and any others associated with the Hydrocarbons Industry.

.

WHERE: MUA WA Branch Kwong Alley North Fremantle

WHEN: Thursday 27th October 2005 @ 10.00am

BBQ & drinks after the meeting

Changes to Industrial Laws (what it really means to workers).

MUA/AWU Alliance.

For the Unions to be successful in reaching our goals for workers, it is important that we all get in and HAVE A GO and join in the campaign, by being a member of the union. This will improve our chance to make the alliance and YOU, the union, stronger on the job.
