ACTU Youth Hotline launched tomorrow

Hotline freecall – 1300 364 022

10 April 2003

Tomorrow, Friday 11 April, the ACTU Call Centre will be co-ordinating a phone-in for young people with problems at work, as part of National Youth week 2003.

The Hotline will be open from 9am to 6pm and is a joint initiative of the ALP, ACTU and unions. Media will be attending on the day.

The purpose of the Hotline is to give young callers advice and encourage them to join a union. Last week, we asked affiliates to nominate a specific contact person so that our call centre operators could make a referral.
