The Struggle Has Just Begun

The struggle against the Howard Government's criminal IR laws has just begun.
The MUA is continuing the fight and has worked hard to ensure that there will be ongoing activities aimed at defeating the Howard Government and ensuring the repeal of the obnoxious WorkChoices legislation.

On the back of this leaflet are vitally important occasions and we need to guarantee the MAXIMUM attendance of ALL available MUA members.

This is a fight for your future and your children's future. This is a fight to maintain fundamental conditions of employment such as penalty rates and basic award conditions.

Some have argued that demonstrations are not worth having because not enough people turn out and it strengthens Howard's position.

We say demonstrations have been the basis of every big social change!

What we need is not less demonstrations but bigger demonstrations and YOU can help by committing to attending the May 18 delegates meeting and the June 28 Mass Protest.

We can win but we all need to be on board!

We must win for ourselves and the next generation!
