Can you help Romero Group set up their scaffolding?

Published: 12 Sep 2019

The MUA have a long history with supporting the Romero Community ever since their wonderful support to our locked out union members during the Patrick Dispute in 1998.

Each year since, MUA members have volunteered their time to help  Romero in the construction of staging and scaffold for their Annual Charity Musical, which raise money for the homeless. This year the setting-up of the stage and scaffold will be happening on Tuesday,  17 September at 9:00 am at the SAC Language Centre Building, 45 Angas Street in the city. The dismantling will be on Tuesday, 15 October at 9:00 am.

Can you help-out?

It is an opportunity for the MUA to repay our thanks and support a grass roots community organisation that helps the homeless and disadvantaged in Adelaide.

Your assistance for a few hours would be much appreciated and will further cement the MUA’s strong community   and solidarity links.

Please call the Branch on 8447 1779 or email muasa@mua.org.auo if you’re  available to help and let us know if you can recruit some worksite delegates or  rank and filer members to assist.
