Longbeach M&M Conference 2005

Mining and Maritime unions from around the world gathered in Long Beach, California in 2005 for the second Globalising Solidarity International Pacific Rim Mining and Maritime Unions Seminar.

The Globalising Solidarity Seminar brought together 250 union delegates from 10 Pacific Rim nations in Long Beach, California, USA.

Pominent among the assembly of union leaders and rank-and-file members of unions representing three million workers was a delegation of 60 Australian rank and file maritime workers, veterans and officials.
