Byuan Dan

By Maritime Union of Australia

The union has been holding discussions with employers about tenders

for the Byuan Dan pipeline due to commence in 2002. It will be

a large project bringing gas into Darwin for export.

Employment opportunities in the offshore oil and gas industry are likely to increase considerably towards the end of the year and the MUA is ensuring we are able to cover those jobs in the interest of our members.
