Conference theme is “Organising for Darwin’s Future”
The conference will run over two days and will include guest speakers
Assistant National Secretaries Rick Newlyn and Mick Doleman, Federal Minister Damian Hale, Comrades from Timor-Leste Unions and AWU alliance officers.
It will be held at: Stokes Hill Wharf
This conference is open to all members of the Darwin branch however if your branch would like to send a delegate to the conference please advise National Organisers Glen Williams or Mich-Elle Myers by no later than Friday June 12 so that arrangements can be made for catering purposes.
There will be a strong focus on the growth of the area.
An informal function will be held at 5.30pm on Wednesday July 1st at Stokes Hill Wharf where the historic Darwin-Dili Port Compact will be signed. All members and partners not attending conference are invited to attend this function.
